At 4.00 p.m., M.W. Bro. The Hon’ble Justice D.P. Madon, OSM, M.W. The Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of India accompanied by the R.W. the Regional Grand Master, R.W.Bro. A.S. Rajasabai, O.S.M., R.W. the Regional Grand Master and R.W. Bro. R. Krishnaswamy, Dy.R.G.M and their team of officers laid the foundation stone of Lodge Cannanore No.234 according to the antient custom in an impressive ceremony.
Later at the 13th Emergent meeting held at I.M.A. Hall, Cannanore at 5 p.m. M.W. The Grand Master, M.W.Bro. Hon’ble Justice D.P. Madon O.S.M., and his team of Officers dedicated the Lodge Banner.
M.W. The Grand Master then presented the Founder Member Jewel to all the founder members of the Lodge. The meeting was adjourned for Lunch to Choice Seaside Hotel.

January 3, at the 307th regular meeting W.Bro. S. Ravindranath Pai, representative of the R.W. the Regional Grand Master installed Bro. Richard Hay the Master Elect as the W. Master for the year 2002. Ladies night was held after the meeting and the First Lady gave away mementos to ladies.
May 31, at the 312th regular meeting W.Bro. Raju C Jacob, W. The Assistant Regional Grand Master attended the Lodge meeting to judge the Ritual Working Competition 1st Stage.
February 20, Bro. P.M. Lakshmanan was called to the Grand Lodge Above.
August 18, Bro. N. Amboo was called to the Grand Lodge Above.
September 9, at the 315th regular meeting the Lodge conducted memorial service in memory of our departed brethren Bro. P.M. Lakshmanan and Bro. N. Amboo.
October 4, at the 316th regular meeting the ceremony of Raising was conducted by Past Masters’ with W.Bro. S. Ravindranath Pai in the Eastern Chair.
October 19, at the 317th emergency meeting R.W.Bro. Dr. B. Biswakumar, R.W. The Regional Grand Master of The Regional Grand Lodge of Southern India presented the 25 years Long Term Service Jewel to W.Bro. Dr. K.V. Venugopal, W.Bro. M. Karunakaran Nambiar and W.Bro. P.V. Kunhappa Nambiar.
