The third to come was on September 26, 1823 under a Provincial Warrant with the name Corinthian Lodge No. 659. This later in 1836 moved over to Madras and was finally erased on January 4, 1862.
The last in the line, Western Star Lodge No. 1049 was consecrated at Cannanore on January 2, 1864. The date on the warrant was January 17, 1865. It was erased in the year 1904. There is no further evidence of any Masonic activity after that date, till the present Lodge under the Grand Lodge of India was formed.
Records also show that a Mark Lodge functioned in Cannanore from 1866 to 1876 under the name Mark Lodge James Edward No.93
Lodge Cannanore No.234 was warranted on 15th December 1977 and consecrated on 11th March 1978.
